Creative meeting and master class of director John Poole Etienne and PR manager Marie Antoinette Helen

On January 16, 2024, at RSUE’s Boiling Point, a creative meeting and a master class was organized jointly with the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles by the Honored Artist of the RSO, professional director, artistic director of the Seychelles Cultural Foundation John Poole Etienne, marketer and PR specialist Seychelles Film Academy Marie Antoinette Helen with the participation of Russian actor Yanis Politov.

John Poole Etienne shared his success story and his desire to bring cultural life to Seychelles to a completely new, world level, using his creative energy and experience of studying in Russia, recognizing the incomparable greatness of Russian culture, and also spoke about the process of creating and establishing the Seychelles Film Academy, to become a new recognizable brand of Seychelles, Africa and the whole world. Marie Antoinette Helen held an inspiring session with all participants about building a creative path.

RSUE’s students hosted the guests with warmth, openness and readiness to learn. The future television journalists plan to offer their foreign colleagues a joint project.

The guests also had a working meeting with the rector of the university, Elena Makarenko, at which they exchanged views on the importance of cultural exchange between countries, existing and future humanitarian ties between Russia and Seychelles.
