The first largest international forum "Russia - China"

RSUE’s Rector Elena Makarenko took part in the first largest international forum “Russia - China”, which was held on September 7-8, 2023, in Kazan.

Russian regions and Chinese provinces are discussing current issues regarding the development of cooperation. Delegations from the provinces with which Tatarstan has signed interregional intergovernmental Agreements attended the forum, namely Shandong, Hunan, Sichuan, Anhui, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Chongqing.

Elena Makarenko took part in the event “Russian-Chinese interuniversity cooperation: joint training of personnel for the economy of the future.”

The Chinese leadership pays great attention to the processes of internationalization of education. Russia being an important partner of China actively takes part in the development of educational cooperation. They discussed the role of interstate, public and educational institutions in establishing a multilateral partnership between Russia and China, as well as the interaction of Russian universities with universities in China. The agenda also included the question of what kind of personnel our countries are preparing as a result of interuniversity cooperation.

Rector also took part in the event “Advanced training and mutual internships for the exchange of experience in various industries: practice and prospects”, where experts told what advanced training programs exist today and presented new internship sites in Russia and China. They also shared their experience of interaction with the PRC in the field of training senior management staff.

The participants in the discussion were: the Department of Civil Service and Personnel under Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Higher School of State and Municipal Administration of KFU, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Archival Affairs, the Office of Foreign Affairs of Sichuan Province, the Beijing Administrative Institute, the Far Eastern Federal University, the Academy of Civil Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo.
