RSUE’s students are winners of the International Student Olympiad

On March 31, 2023, the International Olympiad "International Auditing Standards" was held for senior undergraduate and graduate students of HEIs. The organizers of the Olympiad were Karaganda University named after Academician E.A. Buketov (Karaganda, Kazakhstan) and Ural State University of Economics (Yekaterinburg, Russia).

About 500 best students studying in leading economic universities in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Belarus attended the Olympiad.

RSUE’s students represented our university with honor and were highly appreciated by the experts of the Olympiad.

According to the results of the Olympiad, a 4th year student of RSUE’s Faculty of Accounting took an honorable 2nd place in the overall standings. 

The professional and creative approach to solving tasks for the audit of RSUE’s Olympians was highly appreciated in three nominations. Polina Markova won in the nomination “Effective Risk Management Auditor”, Lina Sirotenko received a diploma in the nomination “Internal Auditor of the Future”, and Yana Udovitchenko won in the nomination “For Theoretical Knowledge in Auditing”.
