RSUE’s students from Uzbekistan actively participate in the life of their country

At the site of RSUE, the procedure for preliminary voting in a referendum of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. Caring citizens of Uzbekistan, primarily students of Rostov State University of Economics were able to express their opinion on the draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The voting procedure was organized by the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don and the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan at several sites in Rostov-on-Don, as well as in the largest cities of the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts.

Citizens of Uzbekistan studying at RSUE noted that it is very important for them to be able to directly participate in the life of their native country and together with their other compatriots make vital decisions regarding their future. The students had the opportunity to meet and communicate with the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don Burkhan Alikulov.

RSUE has already become a traditional platform for holding various events and forums dedicated to the development of equal and mutually beneficial relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized jointly by the university and the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don. The academic and scientific relations of RSUE with Tashkent State University of Economics, Tashkent Financial Institute and Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering are successfully developing within the framework of multilateral cooperation.
