Extramural trip to China with a famous Chinese poetess

On March 12, 2023, at the Boiling Point of Rostov State University of Economics, Russian and Chinese students and graduate students of Rostov universities met with the Chinese poetess and journalist Wang Yuxiao, Ambassador of Guizhou Province in Russia.

Wang Yuxiao shared the seven foundations for building a harmonious life in the opinion of the great thinkers, writers and artists of China in a fascinating poetic form with the audience. The participants listened to fragments of famous Chinese musical, poetic and philosophical works, immersed themselves in the history and traditions of China from ancient times, looked at familiar things in a new way, filled with special sacred meanings in Chinese culture. After the presentation, Mrs. Wang Yuxiao held a master class of the world-famous tea ceremony. The dialogue between the participants was not only in Russian, but also in Chinese.

The organization of the visit and the meeting of students with the Chinese poetess took place with the assistance of the Autonomous non-profit organization "Russian-Chinese Center for Humanitarian Cooperation" headed by the chairman of the organization from the PRC, Zhang Jingwei. RSUE together with the Russian-Chinese Center for Humanitarian Cooperation, as well as with the regional branch of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society, proposed to continue the practice of such meetings.
