ABOUT ASECU YOUTH ASSOCIATION
Students' Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe and the Black Sea Region (ASECU Youth) is a youth wing of the ASECU association uniting scholars in Economics from 60 universities and 20 countries. It was founded in 2011 at the initiative of Rostov State University of Economics. ASECU Youth is known for holding an annual summer economic school and a conference for bachelors, masters and postgraduates, as well as a winter economic school (frequency - 1 time in 2 years).
COSTS
Participants of the trip bear the following expenses: participation fee (150 euros), visa and travel insurance, air tickets from Russia to Chios and pocket money.
The organizers of the summer school covers accommodation costs and catering, the organization of the educational, excursion and entertainment blocks of the school.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
– bachelors of economic specialties,
– master students of economic specialties,
– PhD students in economics who speak English.
SELECTION PROCEDURE
Stage 1
RSUE's International Office selects students who will form a university delegation to participate in the summer school.
To participate in the selection process, a student should send an e-mail to interoffice.rsue@gmail.com until February 16, 23:59, indicating the following subject of the letter: “Application for the 12th school of ASECU Youth (Student’s last name, level of education (BA /MA/ASP), faculty)” (for example: Application for the 12th school of ASECUYouth (Sidorova, MA, FA)).
The following documents should be attached to the letter:
· CV based on the Europass template indicating
a) the level of knowledge of the English language (+ the name of the certificates confirming the level of knowledge of English, if any),
b) list of publications,
c) scientific and practical conferences (if any).
· Subject of the scientific article and abstract in English (download the form template here);
· A short motivation letter in English (no more than 200 words).
· A scanned copy of all completed pages of the record book;
· Scanned copy of the first page of the foreign passport.
Stage 2
On February 20, until 12:00 RSUE will select the members of the delegation and send an official response to the applications of each candidate.
All selected participants will need to complete the host university's application form until February 20, 23:59. A link to the application form will be sent after the completion of Stage 1.
Stage 3
After submitting an application to the host university, the delegation members prepare a scientific article in English, which will need to be sent to the organizers until May, 20.
The preparation of documents for the visa center will be carried out in an organized manner under the guidance of an employee from RSUE's International Office in June.
!!! RSUE's International Office reserves the right to change the format of participation of the entire delegation from an on-site to an online format, taking into account the recommendations of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
