Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don visited Rostov State University of Economics

The Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don Burkhan Alikulov paid a working visit to Rostov State University of Economics.
RSUE’s rector emphasized the special nature of the relationship that the university has developed with the Consulate General and universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the mutual strategic interest in strengthening educational, scientific, cultural ties.
The Consul General noted the importance of the regions of the South of Russia for the Republic of Uzbekistan and the value of already established ties in the economic and humanitarian spheres between the countries.
As a result of the meeting, directions for the development of cooperation in the educational and scientific sphere were outlined, including the training of highly qualified specialists for the needs of the national economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan at RSUE, the expansion of bilateral relations with the universities of the republic, the opening of RSUE’s representative office in Uzbekistan.
