RSUE retained positions in THE Impact Rankings 2022
On April 27, 2022, Times Higher Education: Impact Rankings 2022 / World University Impact Ranking 2022 was published. Rostov State University of Economics was ranked among the best universities in the world and shared the 5th place among 4 other Russian universities.
More world's top universities have been selected for this year's rankings: 1,406 ranked in THE Impact Rankings 2022 compared to 1,117 ranked in 2021. RSUE has retained its positions and again leads among the universities of the south of Russia already in the fourth edition of the ranking.
THE Impact Rankings evaluates the effectiveness and influence of universities as academic, scientific and social centers in terms of their progress towards achieving the key development goals of the world community until 2030, approved by the UN member countries.
In 2022, RSUE was ranked among the best universities in the world according to the following criteria:
- "Quality education";
- "Gender equality";
- "Decent work and economic growth";
- "Industry, innovation and infrastructure";
- "Peace, justice and strong institutions";
- "Partnership for Sustainable Development".
Orientation towards the achievement of key sustainable development goals, which are actively supported by Russia, is considered by the Rostov State University of Economics as one of the priority areas for the development of the university, which is reflected in the Development Strategy of the RSUE for 2021-2025.
