Development of academic cooperation with universities in Uzbekistan

Rostov State University of Economics as part of the implementation of the university development strategy for 2021-2025 years continues to work on developing partnerships with universities of the CIS countries.
The next step in this direction was the achievement of an agreement with two leading universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan ‒ Tashkent State Economic University and Tashkent Financial Institute. Partner universities like Rostov State University of Economics play a key role in the formation of national human resources in the field of economics, management, public administration and other areas, which creates an excellent basis for mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of education and science, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
RSUE takes an active part in the development of Russian-Uzbek relations not only in the academic environment, but also at the level of development of cooperation in the socio-political sphere. The University together with the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don with the personal participation of RSEU’s Rector Elena Makarenko and the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasus Federal District of the Russian Federation, Rustam Kurganbaev, initiated round tables on a regular basis on topical development of mutually beneficial relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan. From October 23 to October 27, 2021, the RSUE’s President Adam Albekov took part in the corps of international observers from the Russian Federation in the elections of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
