Oksana Voronkova, a RSUE’s researcher, held a strategic session for the Timber industry enterprises of the Republic of Bashkortostan

On March 23-25, Oksana Voronkova, a researcher at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies of Global Processes and Strategic Management, Assistant Professor of the Department of World Economy and International Relations of RSUE, held a strategic session "Export Marketing" for enterprises of the timber industry complex of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
15 Timber industry enterprises of Bashkiria under the guidance of a RSUE’s scientist worked out their target markets in modern conditions, target customers, highlighted the competitive advantages of their product in target markets (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, UAE, Qatar, Jordan) in comparison with Russian and foreign competitors. The companies also conducted a study of price proposals and developed their pricing policy for the selected markets, outlined ways to enter them, including business relocation, developed their own promotional action plan and structured the marketing budget, and also brought together the identified competitive advantages and weaknesses in the SWOT analysis, supplementing opportunities and threats of the external environment, and projected strategic directions for the development of their enterprises.
