Foreign students of Rostov State University of Economics took part in the global annual cultural and educational campaign.

For foreigners learning the Russian language there is a special version of the Total Dictation - the TruD test. It is created on the basis of the author's text and includes two parts: nine test tasks and a small dictation. Foreign students of RSUE have been participating in TruD since 2016, when the project was first presented.

In 2022, the dictation in Rostov-on-Don was written by students from leading universities in the region from over 20 countries: Syria, Iraq, Colombia, Armenia, Ecuador, Zambia, Lebanon, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Yemen, Vietnam, Iran, Afghanistan, Congo, Zimbabwe, Algeria, Peru, Chad, China. RSUE was represented by students of the undergraduate program "World Economy": 3rd- year student Mara Moussa (Guinea) and 2nd- and 4th-year students from Côte d'Ivoire Ali Koffi Ippolit and Sanogo Kassum who participate in the Total Dictation for the second time.

“In this year the text of the dictation was about Voronezh. There I began to learn Russian at the preparatory faculty,” said Mara Moussa.
