Professors of the Department of Computer Technologies and Information Security participated in the workshops of the Erasmus+ international project UXiship

In late March-early April 2021, professors of the Faculty of Computer Technologies and Information Security (FCTIS) at Rostov State University of Economics underwent two educational trainings within the framework of the international Erasmus+ project "Accelerating ICT students’ startup development competence via interdisciplinary modular courses in the HEI curricula / UXiship". 

The joint work of the UXiship project consortium members is aimed at building capacity in the field of education by exchanging experience and studying the best practices in the field of teaching methods and the content of programs in ICT disciplines that can form not only professional, but basic entrepreneurial competencies among students.   

 

This educational session was attended by 8 teachers of the FCTIS: Dean of  the FCTIS Yevgeniy Tishchenko, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Applied Informatics Sergey Shcherbakov, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems and Applied Informatics Sergey Glushenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems and Applied Informatics Elena Zhilina, Professor of the Department of Fundamenetal and Applied Mathematics Alexander Kuzminov, Head of the Department of Fundamenetal and Applied Mathematics Mikhail Stryukov, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Applied Informatics Elena Efimova, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Technology and Information Protection Sergei Nazaryan, as well as the project group of the University's International Office. 

 

Participants finished training in two educational courses in English online. The courses were prepared by partner universities within the consortium: 

- "Business Model Development", course author: Dr. Sirje Charter, Leading Lecturer of the Department of Business Administration, Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia); 

- "IoT, Blockchain, Converging Technologies", course author: Prof. Giovanni Dinotto, Wismar University of Applied Sciences: Technology, Business and Design (Germany). 

The UXiship project is being implemented under the Erasmus + “Capacity Building in Higher Education” program. The consortium of the project together with RSUE includes 8 universities from Germany, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Russia and Estonia.
