Professor from Daffodil International University held a virtual lecture for RSUE’s students

Professor of the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, Daffodil International University (Dhaka, Bangladesh) Dr. Khadija Rahman Tanshi held an open lecture on “Total Quality Management in Business for Sustainable Growth” for RSUE’s students on May 27, 2021. 

The lecture was held both on-site and in a remote format based on RSUE’s Co-working Space “Boiling Point” and RSUE’s Process Factory. 

More than 30 RSUE’s bachelor and master students studying the issues of total quality management in the frame of their educational programs became participants of the lecture. 

An open lecture by Professor Tanshi is a continuation of the virtual mobility of faculty and students planned between RSUE and Daffodil International University, which involves a series of professionally oriented lectures by leading professors of two universities on various fields of knowledge. 

Within the framework of the lecture, both theoretical and practical issues of applying the concept of total quality management were considered, the discussion of which is planned to continue within the framework of a lecture for Bangladeshi students. The lecture will be delivered by Head of the Department of Commodity Research and Quality Management, Head of RSUE’s Process Factory, Prof. Karina Mekhantseva. 

Note: RSUE and Daffodil International University (Dhaka, Bangladesh) signed an agreement on academic and scientific cooperation in February 2021, and in the face of continuing restrictions related to the prevention of the spread of a new coronavirus infection, the universities agreed on virtual mobility of teachers and students. 

The partnership of universities was initially formed as a multilateral cooperation in the frame of the Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe and the Black Sea Region (ASECU). The universities plan to organize a series of open lectures on different subject areas, which will attract a large number of our students and teachers to participate in them. 

Daffodil International University is the largest private university in Bangladesh, teaching about 22 000 students in a wide range of areas: information technology, business and entrepreneurship, humanities and social sciences, medicine. The university is included in the regional and global rankings QS Asia and THE University Impact Rankings. The honorary rector of the university is the President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Abdul Hamid.
